Mauritania anti-slavery activists form party
Mauritanian anti-slavery activist group (IRA) on Sunday (April 28th) launched a new political party, ANI reported.
The Radical Party for Global Action (RAG), which awaits authorisation by the interior ministry, aims at promoting an anti-slavery agenda in the next parliament.
Mauritania is expected to hold its national poll next September or October.
