The U.S. Marine Corps’ 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Battalion Landing Team part of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, took part in Exercise Africa Lion 2012 earlier this month at Cap Draa, Morocco. The Marines yearly training with Moroccan soldiers covered aerial refueling/low-level flight training, live-fire and maneuvering, and peacekeeping operations.
