Libyan fighters storm embassy in Morocco, expel envoy from his office

Libyan Al-Watan newspaper has learnt from informed sources in the Moroccan capital Rabat that a group of injured [Libyan] fighters who are being treated in Sheikh Zayed Military Hospital stormed on Monday [30 January] morning the Moroccan embassy and expelled the Libyan ambassador (Abu-Bakr Shaklawun) from his office, accusing him of negligence in dealing with the wounded in Morocco. It is noteworthy that members of the Libyan community in Morocco are still protesting inside the embassy building, demanding the expulsion of those they described as Al-Qadhafi’s cronies.
