Libya willing to usher new era in relations with Morocco- Official

New York – Libya’s interim Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril voiced, on Monday in New York, his country’s willingness to “turn a new page” in its bilateral relations with Morocco.

Speaking to the press following talks with Morocco’s Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri, Jibril highlighted the brotherly relations between the Libyan and Moroccan people.

³Delegations from the two countries will exchange visits to examine cooperation prospects with a view to turning a new page of strong relations that reflect the deep historical ties between the Libyan and the Moroccan people,² the de facto Prime Minister, appointed by Libya¹s National Transitional Council, said on the sidelines of the 66th UN General Assembly.
