Laayoune – The so-called Sakina Jad Ahlou, a resident of the southern Moroccan city of Smara, feigned a fainting on Saturday on the public road in the city of Laayoune, while the motorcade of a delegation of the Robert Kennedy Foundation for Justice and human Rights was passing by to visit in the southern provinces and in the Tindouf camps (Algeria’s south-west) to be informed about the human rights situation.
She was evacuated by ambulance of the civil defence to the city’s hospital where she received a visit from members of the delegation.
According to civil society actors, this is not the first time that the so-called Sakina Jad Ahlou makes such acts to attract the interest of foreign delegations visiting the region.
