King of Morocco hails UAE’s efforts under Khalifa`s leadership

WAM ABU DHABI: H.M. King Mohammad VI of Morocco hailed the pioneering role of the UAE under the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the UAE, in the field of cultivating date palm and date palm production, as well as in encouraging all the industry’s workers both locally and internationally through the Khalifa International Date Palm Award in order to preserve this blessed tree.

King Mohammed VI made his remarks in a letter to the General Secretariat of Khalifa International Date Palm Award upon his visit to the UAE Pavilion at the Second International Forum of Date Palm held in Arford, Morocco. King Mohammed VI also expressed thanks and gratitude for Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education ‘&’ Scientific Research and Chairman of the Award’s Board of Trustees for granting the complete collection of the Blessed Tree Magazine as a gift. The magazine won the admiration and appreciation of H.M, the king.”The successful participation of the UAE, represented by the UAEU and Khalifa International Date Palm Award, is attributed to directives of HH.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Award’s Board of Trustees.He added that the King lauded the role of the Award in promoting relations between the UAE and Morocco in the field of date palm cultivation, exchange of expertise and exhibitions.WAM/MMYS
