Several dignitaries on Monday evening attended celebrations at the Kenyan Moroccan residence in Gigiri, Nairobi to mark the 13th anniversary of the enthronement of His majesty King Mohammed VI .
Addressing the guests, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco Abdelilah Benryane acknowledged the good rapport between Kenya and Morocco both bilaterally and multilaterally. “I would like to emphasize Morocco’s strong support to the Kenyan government efforts aiming at implementing the reforms ushered by the new constitution,” said Benryane.
On his part, chief guest Public Service minister Dalmas Otieno attributed the increasing number of tourists from Morocco as an excellent cooperation that characterises the relationship between the two countries.
In attendance were ambassadors and high commissioners David Collins (Canada), Geoff Tooth, (Australia) Manuel Jose Conclaves (Mozambique), Angelina Wapakhabulo (Uganda) and Bamburi Cement Group CEO Hussein Mansi.
