AMMAN — Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh will participate in the GCC foreign ministers meeting in Bahrain, slated for Wednesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The meeting comes in preparation for the upcoming GCC leaders summit.

The foreign ministers will discuss the GCC’s cooperation with Jordan and Morocco, in addition to the regional, Arab and international events.

Jordan has previously discussed with the Gulf leaders an accession plan, which did not see progress. Instead, the GCC last year created a fund for the Kingdom and Morocco to support development plans in both countries with $5 billion each over five years.

According to Petra, the GCC ministers will also discuss the Syrian crisis, in addition to issues related to Yemen, Palestine and Iraq.
