The United States came to a mutually acceptable solution to the Sahara issue (Hillary Clinton)
The United States of America supports efforts to find a mutually acceptable solution to the Sahara issue, said Sunday in Rabat, the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton speaking at a press briefing.
The U.S. official has also qualified the initiative for autonomy to be “serious, realistic and credible, noting that this initiative is likely to allow the Sahrawis to manage their own affairs”

Morocco and the United States agreed to the establishment of a mechanism of regular political consultations to further strengthen their cooperation, said Sunday in Rabat, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Saad El Dine Otmani.
“Morocco and the United States are bound by strong secular relations and reinforcing each year”
A visit to Morocco of the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was an opportunity for both countries to agree to strengthen these relations further through the establishment of a mechanism of regular political consultations, “said Mr. El Otmani at a joint press conference with Clinton.
“We also agreed to promote our relations of economic cooperation, expand U.S. investment in the Kingdom and strengthen ties between businessmen of both countries,” added the minister, who recalled that Morocco and United States are bound by several agreements of economic cooperation including free trade agreement.
Mr. El Omani reported, on the other hand, the possibility for Morocco and the United States to strengthen cooperation in security and exchange of information and expertise, noting that both countries want consolidate stability and deal with all threats to the region.
