New York’s Hometown Airline, JetBlue Airways, has teamed up Morocco’s flag carrier Royal Air Maroc to boost tourism and flight connections between Africa and the Americas, offering passengers new travel competitive options.

The two companies have signed an interline agreement connecting their networks and offering passengers the possibility of booking a single-ticket to fly on both carriers and one-stop luggage check-in when they transfer between the airlines at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

JetBlue is the largest U.S. domestic airline at JFK, where Royal Air Maroc serves daily nonstop flights to Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport, Africa’s fourth busiest airport.

The agreement sealed between the two major airlines offers travelers coming from the U.S. connections to several cities across the Maghreb and West Africa while U.S. bound passengers from Morocco will enjoy easy transfers at JFK to a wide range of destinations operated by JetBlue. These include Boston, Buffalo/Niagara Falls, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, Houston, San Juan (Puerto Rico) and six cities in Florida.
