Moroccan provider of aluminium window systems Jet Contractors and Chinese solar manufacturer Hareon are planning the construction of a solar cell and PV module manufacturing facility in Morocco. According to media24, the factory will have an initial annual production capacity of 160 MW and will be located near Tanger, northern Morocco.
The two company will jointly invest 550 million MAD ($56.9 million) in the project. The factory will produce solar cells and modules based on Hareon’s PV technology.
