Italian Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi invited Moroccan Foreign Minister Saad-Eddine El Othmani to visit Italy in the “coming months” to tackle the most pressing bilateral issues and to promote the strengthening of economic and trade relations between the two countries through the organization of “road shows” in both nations, the Italian foreign ministry said in an e-mailed statement today.

The invitation was made during a meeting between the two ministers in Rome, on the sidelines of the ninth conference of foreign ministers of the 5+5, which brings together the countries that border the Mediterranean Sea, the ministry said in the statement.
