London – “Inspiring Morocco” exhibition, currently held in London, enables to position Morocco as a high quality destination on the British market, said Moroccan Tourism and Handicraft Minister Yassir Znagui.
The exhibition, which opens its doors till December 18, will contribute to promote Moroccos image in the British market, Znagui told MAP news agency, during a brilliant reception organized at Harrods luxury department store, which hosts the event.
He added that Moroccan tourism has made robust progress in the British market over the last years, as 385,000 people arrived from the United Kingdom to Morocco during the first nine months of 2011, making a 7,8% year-on-year increase.
The official said that more efforts should made to foster Moroccos destination at the United Kingdom, noting that the exhibition is just the beginning of a one-year rich programme.
