INADEC at conference on consumers’ protection

Luanda – The National Institute of Consumer’s Defense (INADEC) will participate on 11-13 September in Rabat, Morocco, in the Fourth Annual African Dialogue Consumer Protection Conference.

Promoted by the US Federal Trade Commission, the meeting will debate topics such as the common challenge between USA and Africa in relation to the legal framework of the consumer protection, fraud and financial education.

In the forum, INADEC will present themes related to the consumer protection in the information society, the legal framework of consumer protection in Angola, financial education, social networks and consumers’ protection.

The meeting will take place under the motto “Using Consumer Protection and Competition Tools to Help Consumers Navigate New Challenges”: Mobile Technologies, Financial Scams, and other Emerging Issues.

The event will be attended by Angola are Zambia, Namibia, Egypt, South Africa, Morocco, Tanzania, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia and Nigeria.
