Riad Fes, Morocco

Experience the most luxurious hotel in Fez, the ancient Moroccan city at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains

Riad Fes, Morocco

Three palaces dating back to the 18th century were renovated and modernised in 2001 to create Riad Fès, the most luxurious hotel in Fez, the ancient Moroccan city at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.

Today, the hotel with 30 rooms and suites is made up of three main patios, each decorated in an elaborate individual style. The traditional Moroccan patio comes with zellige mosaic floors, plaster-moulded walls and warm Moroccan furnishings. The Oriental patio is marked out in dark wood, with bathrooms in black or white tadelakt (lime plaster). The Baraco-andalous style is spelt out in grey tadelakt walls, black zellige and marble bathrooms. Everywhere, the effect is understated opulence.

The elegant L’Ambre restaurant serves up a delicious dinner. The walls draped in white curtains and the wholesome menu make for a truly memorable meal. Want to burn off those calories? Plan an excursion into historic Fez or go for a hike or horse ride up the Atlas. Later, relax in style at the hotel’s new spa by Cinq Mondes.

HOT SUITE
The Royal Suite has a remarkable carved ceiling and intricate stucco work. The bedroom overlooks the garden while the private terrace gives you a view of the majestic Atlas. The suite comes complete with a panoramic seating area, apart from the ultra-comfortable master bedroom and the well-fitted en suite bathroom and a separate dressing area.
