Rabat – HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences to the family of the late human rights activist Assia El Ouadie, who died on Friday morning at the age of 63 after a long illness.
HM the King says he learnt with deep grief and great sorrow of the death of the deceased.
He expressed to the late’s family and to all her friends and admirers his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy in this ordeal.
The Sovereign recalls the human qualities of the deceased and her defense of the rights of children and young people, especially those of the residents of rehabilitation and reintegration centres, devoting her life to serving their causes and endeavouring to ensure their protection and support.
The Monarch also highlighted her contribution in the field of justice, her activism in favour of the defense of human rights and her abnegation.
