HM The King Inaugurates Agricultural Training Center, Lays Foundation For Youth Vocational Training Center In Bouknadel

Bouknadel  –  HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated, on Friday in the rural commune of Bouknadel (prefecture of Salé), a training center on agricultural techniques and laid the foundation stone for a youth vocational training center.

     Carried out by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity for a total vost of 31 million dirhams, the two projects aim at supporting the youth through providing training as a means to achieve development and socio-professional integration.

The training center on agricultural techniques will offer the youthful in the Bouknadel region training in jobs linked to agriculture, such as livestock farming, milk and cheese production, open field and greenhouse market gardening and arboriculture.

The center will benefit the youth from local families of farmers with low income through providing them with pertinent training and new tools to develop their crop profitability.

The new facility houses notably administration offices, classrooms, training workshops, greenhouse nurseries, irrigation systems and a 100-bed capacity dormitory.

 

     The center, which will help promote agriculture in the region, was built for a total cost of 24.87 million dirham.

 

 

    As for the youth vocational training center, it is designed to promote the social  and professional integration of the Bouknadel’s youth in the job market through providing pertinent training in terms of small enterprise creation.
     The center is also designed to develop sports activities in Bouknadel and will offer the youth a space for social work as well as artistic and cultural creativity.

 

 

     The center, worth 6.5 million dirham, is fully funded by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
