HM King Mohammed VI Congratulates US President On Independence Day

Rabat  –  HM King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to US President Barak Obama on the occasion of the anniversary of the independence of his country.

     In this message, HM the King expressed his warmest congratulations and His best wishes of health and happiness to the US President and of more progress and prosperity to the friendly people of the United States.

HM the King expressed His satisfaction with the strong ties of friendship and fruitful cooperation and mutual esteem uniting Morocco and the United States of America, reiterating His firm resolve to act, in concert with the US President, to boost the exemplary strategic partnership between the two countries in various fields, serving the common interests of the two friendly peoples.

The Sovereign reaffirmed the willingness of Morocco to continue dialogue, coordination and consultation with the United States within international bodies, particularly within the UN Security Council on various bilateral, regional and international issues of common interest, and His support for international efforts to achieve mutual progress, establish global peace and spread the values of freedom, democracy, justice, fairness, tolerance and coexistence between religions and civilizations, values shared by the two friendly peoples.

In this message, the Sovereign welcomes the pivotal role played by the United States of America to uphold just causes and defend the noble human values as well as its effective contribution to achieving international peace and stability, particularly in the Middle East and Africa.
