A new report released by the United Nations Environment Program, UNEP says, Morocco’s economy will suffer if food prices continue to rise.

Stress test in the report shows Morocco’s consumer price index rising to 19.4 percent.

The report, published this month , also show the impact of food price shocks on the economies of 110 countries.

Benin Republic is ranked first in the list of countries most affected by food price shocks, followed by Ivory Coast and Senegal.
