Gibraltar Exchange Morocco Group and Gibraltar and Morocco Business Association join forces, with plans to foster a twin association in Tangier.
The Gibraltar Exchange Morocco Group is to join forces with the existing Gibraltar and Morocco Business Association, to become one association.
The move is a first step towards the organisations’ aim to foster a twin association in Tangier.
In a statement, it says the aim of the merger is to help increase Gibraltar’s business, culture, tourism and education links with Morocco. Adding that this would assist the Rock with new markets and counter what it describes as, an over-reliance on Spain. A steering committee and office bearers for the reformed association have been appointed.
