The French logistics service provider Geodis has opened its new 16,000 sqm logistics site in Casablanca (Morocco). This platform, which has been operational since the end of 2011, performs a broad selection of logistics operations for customers from all over the world. Located in the Aïn Sebaa quarter, near the port and the main motorways, the platform meets all the applicable international safety standards. The site’s 150 employees carry out reception, storage, order preparation and co-packing (grouping products into batches) operations for the world’s leading players in the retailing, textiles and high-tech goods sectors. Equipped with the latest-generation facilities, from radio-frequency information systems to areas with hanger storage zones, the facility can accommodate the equivalent of 18,000 pallets.
