New York (United Nations) – Great Britain expressed, on Saturday in New York, its great support for the process of reforms that is taking place in Morocco.

“Great Britain affirms its great support for the process of reforms underway in Morocco,” Foreign Office Minister in charge of Middle East affairs, Alistair Burt, told the press.

He also praised the vision of HM King Mohammed VI in the context of developments witnessed by the region, and recalled the adoption by the majority of Moroccans of the new constitution in last July.

“All the ingredients are in place for the success of the process,” he told MAP at the end of a meeting, in the United Nations headquarters, between Morocco’s Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri and his British counterpart William Hague.
