PARIS, March 7 (KUNA) — French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe is heading tomorrow to Morocco for a two-day visit where he will tackle various issues, among them the Syrian crisis and issues of mutual concern.

French Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bernard Valero said in a press conference Wednesday that Juppe will discuss during his trip regional and international issues, mostly the Syrian crisis because Morocco is currently representing the Arab group in the UN Security Council.

Valero added the minister will hold talks with his Moroccan counterpart, Saad Dine El-Othmani, and the Prime Minister, Abdelilah Benkirane, and will be hosted by Moroccan King Mohammed VI.

The spokesman noted that France is the kingdom’s leading commercial partner, as well as the leading foreign investor in the country.

“French businesses have a significant presence, while there is also a public and private financial aid system, as well as a support network for training and education,” Valero added. (end) amm.mb KUNA 072216 Mar 12NNNN
