Cairo – The Arab League announced, on Monday, that the follow-up committee of the Arab peace initiative will convene on January 29 in Cairo.
“The Arab foreign ministers’ meeting was called by Palestine and will deal with the latest developments of the peace process which is suspended for years now,” deputy secretary general of the Arab League Ahmed Ben Helli told the press.
He added that the meeting will also tackle the steps to be taken by the Palestine liberation organization in the light of the outcome of the next meeting of the Quartet (UN, EU, USA, Russia) slated January 26.
