Rabat – The Federation of Fisheries and Aquaculture (FPMA) welcomed, on Friday, the rejection by the EU Parliament to submit the Morocco-EU fisheries agreement to the European Court of Justice to rule on whether the agreement complied with EU and international law.
The FPMA considered that negotiations on potential amendments will continue with a view to renew the partnership protocol agreement between Morocco and the EU in the field of fisheries, the FPMA said in a statement.
The FPMA also welcomed the approval by the European parliament’s fisheries commission of the Morocco-EU agricultural agreement.
