Participants in the first edition of “Morocco Motorcycle Tour” (MMT), organized by “Dada’s Bike” club in partnership with the Moroccan Union of Motorcycles Tourism & Leisure (UMMTL), arrived Saturday in the city of Laayoune, the second leg of this rally raid.

Several bikers, members of various national motorsport clubs, are taking part in this event, which kicked off earlier Saturday from the city of Dakhla.

Placed under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Motorcycling Federation, this competition, which will end June 16 in Casablanca, is the largest national motorcycling event and one of the challenging bikers’ rallies in Africa and the Arab world, according to the organizers.

This sporting event aims to showcase Morocco’s huge tourism potential and highlight the values of unity and solidarity in the North African Kingdom.

The MMT offers participants the possibility to discover and appreciate the beauty and diversity of Morocco’s provinces in tourism, economy and natural landscapes.

Participants in the MMT will cross more than thirty cities, covering nearly 5,000 km, in 9 phases from the city of Dakhla, to Laayoune, Tan Tan, Guelmim, Erfoud, Oujda, El Hoceima, Tetouan, Tangiers, Fez, Ifrane, Khenifra, Beni Mellal, Marrakech, Agadir, Essaouira, Safi and Casablanca.
