(Smara) – Moroccan Sahrawis continue their stream toward their motherland, Morocco, as 15 people, including 3 children, fled the ordeal of polisario-run Tindouf camps (Algeria’s south-west).

The new group includes many people who have benefited from the UN-facilitated family visit exchange programme.

AlHoussine Ben Moussa, a member of the group who has joined the Moroccan Sahara region, said he is proud to join Morocco after years of suffering and blockade in Tindouf.

Ben Moussa, who belongs to Sahrawi tribe of Rguibat Al  Bihat, deplored the “lamentable” and dehumanising living conditions in the Tindouf camps.

He also voiced the support of this group and all Moroccan Saharawis for the autonomy initiative to the Sahara presented by Morocco in order to end this artificial conflict.
