Manama-April1-(BNA)Bahrain Family Bank has joined Sanabel-The Microfinance Network of Arab Countries. Established in 2002, the non-profit regional network serves over 750,000 owners of small businesses in the Arab World.
Currently Sanabel has 87 members from 13 Arab countries; namely, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen.
Human Rights and Social Development Minister and Family Bank chairperson Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al-Balooshi stressed the importance of strengthening relations with international organizations specialized in micro-financing in the Arab World.
