A delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) including its board of directors was expected to arrive in Morocco on Tuesday for a four-day visit. A statement said the visit was part of a regular series of consultations that enable EBRD Directors to better understand the priorities for the local economy and to maintain close dialogue with the authorities, civil society and the private sector.

During the visit, the EBRD Board of Directors will meet Mohamed Boussaid, Minister of Economy and Finance, Salaheddine Mezouar among others, and hold meetings with the senior government and private firm officials.

To date, the EBRD has invested €273 million in 14 projects and has provided technical assistance support to 90 small and medium-sized Moroccan enterprises.
