French energy giant Engie (EPA:ENGI) has recently made a MAD 3.5 million (EUR 316,000/ USD 370,000) capital injection in its Moroccan unit, local daily Challenges reports today.

The fresh funds will allow La Compagnie du Vent Maroc (LCVM) to finance its continued efforts for renewable energy project development in the north of Morocco, possibly an additional 200 MW, next to the operational 50.4 MW wind farm at Koudia al Baida.
