Emmerson said it had defined a significant exploration target at its Khemisset potash project in Northern Morocco.

The target covered an area of approximately 87 square kilometers and ranged from 264-616m tonnes.

The upper end of the scale was more than double the current JORC inferred mineral resource of 311.4m tonnes at 10.2% K2O, and indicated the significant upside within the projected area, the company said.

Drilling targeting confirmation of potash thickness and grade was scheduled to start in the second half of 2019.
