A Danish man has been arrested in Morocco for assaulting an 11-year-old boy near the city of Marrakech, reports Metroxpress.
The Foreign Ministry has confirmed the arrest but refused to divulge further details.
“We are obliged to keep confidentiality in criminal matters and therefore we cannot comment any further,” it stated.
According to local media, the Dane is 45 years old and was discovered by a police patrol in a forest near Marrakech in the company of two young boys aged 11 and 15.
Reportedly, he offered them money to lure them into the forest.
