Circle Oil finds gas in Sebou well onshore Morocco

LONDON (ShareCast) – AIM-listed explorer Circle Oil (Stuttgart:CN9.SG – news) has found gas at its SAH-W1 well in the Sebou Permit in Morocco.
The well, which was spud on May 19th and drilled to a total depth of 1,263 metres, found gas at three levels within the target areas.
Wireline logging confirmed the presence of three gas-bearing zones and pressure testing found permeable high pressure reservoirs, Circle said.
“We are delighted to add another successful discovery to our Sebou gas portfolio,” said Chris Green, the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
“This is the first well of a six well programme to be drilled with our partner ONHYM in the Sebou permit and is coupled with another six well programme in the Lalla Mimouna permit.”
