Chariot earlier today unveiled a US$15mln share placing which is designed to fund a separate exploration well, offshore Namibia, meanwhile, the countdown is now on for the high impact Rabat Deep well
The rig is expected to arrive in 10 days.
Chariot Oil & Gas Limited (LON:CHAR), which has today raised US$15mln in a placing, has also highlighted that the high impact Rabat Deep exploration well (RD-1) is due to be drilled soon.
In a statement, the company said that the Saipem 12000 drillship is now being mobilised to the location, and it is expected to be in Morocco in around 10 days.

The RD-1 well is expected to spud shortly after the rig arrives at the intended well location.
Chariot has a 10% stake in the well alongside operator ENI, Woodside Energy (owning 25%) and ONHYM (with 25%).
