Azerbaijani, Moroccan think thanks boost co-op

The Center for Strategic Studies under the Azerbaijani President and the Center for Strategic Studies of Morocco have signed an agreement on cooperation, AzerTag state news agency reported.

The document was signed following the 5th International Security Forum co-organized by the Moroccan Center for Strategic Studies and the African Federation for Strategic Studies.

SAM Director Farhad Mammadov and foreign policy expert Kamal Gasimov paid a visit to the Kingdom of Morocco to participate in the 5th International Security Forum.

The forum was lead in five plenary sessions and provided three workshops. Farhad Mammadov made a speech on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as a threat to regional stability and security, where he addressed the systematic damage being done to the regional stability by the unresolved conflict.

The plenary session also saw presentations by servicemen, ambassadors and experts from Morocco, Tunisia, France, Italy, the United States and other countries, who exchanged views about the occurring processes in the region and various aspects of regional security.
