Arab summit slated for Rabat

Morocco on Monday (September 10th) will host a regional conference on strengthening Arab civil society capacity in the aftermath of conflict, MAP reported. The two-day event in Rabat will cover security, the rule of law, political inclusion, economic revitalisation and other issues.

Government officials from Arab countries, along with representatives of the Arab League, the UN, the World Bank, the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation and the Arab Maghreb Union, will attend the forum.

Their conclusions will be presented at the next session of the United Nations General Assembly.
