American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO) announced Wednesday that it had opened new stores in Egypt, Morocco and Jordan.

American Eagle Outfitters    ‘international strategyexpanded in the Middle East with the opening of stores in November and December in Jordan, Morocco and Egypt.

The Taj Mall, Jordan, store opened Nov. 30. The Morocco Mall store in Casablanca, Morocco, opened Dec. 1. On Dec. 10, the American Eagle Outfitters store opened at City Stars Mall in Cairo. The stores in those countries, as well as Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, are through American Eagle Outfitters franchise agreement with M.H. Alshaya.

American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO) has three stores in Saudi Arabia and early next year will open another one in Lebanon.

“We are continuously delighted by consumers’ excitement and passion for the American Eagle Outfitters brand as we pursue our international expansion strategy around the globe,” Simon Nankervis, vice president of global business development for the Pittsburgh-based retailer, said ina prepared statement.
