By ARAB NEWSRIYADH: Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company Prince Alwaleed bin Talal was awarded Morocco’s highest honor by King Mohammed VI.
He received the “Grand Cross of the Order of Ouissam Alaouite” at the presidential palace in Morocco in recognition of his global economic and humanitarian efforts. This was the prince’s 60th honorary medal.
During their meeting, Mohammed VI and Prince Alwaleed discussed a number of social and economic issues in addition to relations between Saudi Arabia and Morocco.
Recently, Prince Alwaleed and Prince Rachid inaugurated the Four Seasons Hotel in Marrakesh, an event also attended by Princess Ameerah Al-Taweel, vice chairwoman of Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation. The hotel construction cost was $164 million and all 40 villas adjacent to the FS hotel were sold earlier this year.
