The number of passengers traveling through Moroccan airports reached 14.1 million in the first seven months of 2019, up 11.9 percent year on year, the Moroccan Airports Authority (ONDA) said Monday.
In July, Morocco’s airports recorded a commercial traffic of 2.4 million passengers, up by 14.24 percent year on year, ONDA said in a statement.
Morocco’s biggest airport, Casablanca international airport, received nearly 45.6 percent of total air traffic during the period, it added.
The European market, which represents 76 percent of the commercial air traffic, rose by 12.16 percent.
