Moroccan PM holds talks with head of Libyan national coalition – Moroccan Prime minister, AbdelIlah Benkirane, on Friday held talks in Rabat with the visiting head of the Libyan national coalition, Mahmoud Guibril.
A communiqué from the Moroccan Prime minister’s office said that the two parties reaffirmed “the depth of the fraternal ties that link the two sides” and called for the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in various domains.
The communiqué added that the two statesmen discussed several regional and international issues of common interest.
Guibril on Thursday held talks with the chairmen of the chamber of Parliament and the chamber of Moroccan councilors, Karim Ghalab and Mohamed al-Cheikh Beyd’Allah respectively, as well as the chairman of the national human rights council, Idriss al-Yazmi during which he briefed them on developments in Libya.
