BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — President Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to fly to Morocco to participate in meetings with the al-Quds Committee, Palestinian officials said.

The meetings will be held on Friday and Saturday in Marrakesh under the patronage of King Muhammad VI.

Officials said that foreign ministers of Arab member states of the al-Quds Committee would attend the meetings.

The conveners of the meetings will discuss Jerusalem-related issues and coordinate in attempt to protect East Jerusalem from Israeli Judaization, officials said.

Representatives of the United Nations, the European Union, the Vatican, and the Arab League will attend the meetings.

The al-Quds Committee was created in 1975 by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
