Taza – About twenty people were injured, including five seriously wounded, on Wednesday in clashes between students and security forces in the central city of Taza, said local authorities.

The clashes took place in some neighborhoods surrounding the University of Taza when students wanting to join a group of unemployed graduates, who observed a sit-in outside the headquarters of the province of Taza, threw stones at the elements of the security forces, the same source said.
Incidents were subsequently produced near the headquarters of the province where demonstrators (mostly adolescents) have trashed shops and cafes and burned a police vehicle.
