Germany Loans Morocco 8.5 Million Euros To Fund Drinking Water Projects In Taroudant & Tiznit

Rabat – The national water utility (Office national de l’eau potable, ONEP) and the German Development Bank, Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), signed, on Wednesday in Rabat, an agreement of a loan worth 8.5 million euros to finance drinking water projects in the provinces of Taroudant and Tiznit.

The loan, part of the Moroccan-German cooperation, will help finance drinking water projects through developing the drinking water supply systems benefiting a population of over 65,000.

The agreement was signed by Director General of ONEP, Ali Fassi Fihri and Director of KfW office in Morocco Silke Stadtmann.
