(Xinhua) CONAKRY – Guinea and Morocco are in the process of reviving theireconomic and commercial relations, this was revealed on Tuesday by Guinea’s Prime MinisterMohamed Said Fofana.He was speaking in Conakry on the occasion of Morocco-Guinea Economic and Commercial Daywhich saw the participation of over 130 Moroccan businesses.This day was being held under the auspices of the “economic and commercial tour in Africa”whose first phase was launched in Senegal, the second in Guinea and the third on Wednesday inCote d’Ivoire.
According to the head of the Moroccan delegation Saad Ben Abdallah, this “economic andcommercial day” is a platform for sharing experiences and creating partnership between hiscountry’s businessmen and their Guinean counterparts, following the logic of bilateralcooperation and mutual interest that has already been established between the two countries.
He affirmed that based on the discussions that were held during this occasion, Moroccanbusinesses could now start investing in several socio-economic development sectors in Guinea.
