(Alliance News) – Sound Energy PLC said Wednesday it has agreed to put off the deadline for concluding a gas sales agreement with Morocco’s Office National de l’Electricite et de l’Eau Potable.
It is putting in place an amendment to extend the period for negotiations of the final agreement for the sale of natural gas production in the Tendara concession to the end of June.
The amendment has been agreed in principle, but Covid-19-related travel restrictions mean it has not yet been possible for both parties to enter the amendment, Sound noted.
Shares in Sound Energy were down 6.2% at 0.98 pence on Wednesday in London.
