Moroccan security forces arrested on Tuesday a man with suspected link to the Islamic State (IS) terror group.
The suspect, 31, was arrested in the southern city of Guelmim, said a statement issued by the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation, Morocco’s intelligence bureau.
Investigation showed that the suspect who has a brother fighting for IS in the Syrian-Iraqi region, is defending the extremist ideology, through electronic applications to serve the agenda of this terrorist organization, the statement said.
