The number of passengers travelling through Moroccan airports reached an all-time record high in June, with an increase of 26.54 percent year on year, the Moroccan Airports Authority (ONDA) said Monday.
A total of 2,093,323 travellers passed through Moroccan airports in June, the ONDA said in a statement.
Morocco’s biggest airport, Casablanca Mohamed V airport, received 877,655 passengers.
Some airports recorded significant double-digit growth rates.
In the first six months of 2019, the number of passengers travelling through Moroccan airports reached 11.66 million, up 11.9 percent year on year, the statement added.
