King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands on Friday appointed a new personal adviser for himself and Queen Máxima. According to online newspaper Vorsten quoting the Government Information Service, Hassan Outaklla will take office from 15 August.
Hassan Outaklla succeeds to Bram Gille, who had been Deputy Secretary General of the King since February.
Hassan Outaklla, born in 1983, studied political science at the University of Amsterdam. After graduation, he worked for more than four years as management consultant at KPMG. Since 2011, he has held various positions at the Dutch Financial Markets Authority (AFM), where until recently he was Senior Policy Advisor for the coordination of public and strategic policy activities according to the Dutch media.
Hassan Outaklla is originally from the town of Kelaat Mgouna in the Draa-Tafilalet region.
