Moroccan telecommunications regulator ANRT is devising measures to develop the national telecoms sector in the four years from 2019-2022 in a general guidance paper, reports Ecofin. The paper will take into account the coming 5G network, big data, blockchain, virtual reality and the Internet of Things.
The ANRT will first have to make an exhaustive assessment of opportunities and challenges in the sector in the past years. The period 2015-2018 has been marked notably by unbundling issues that have not yet been definitively settled.
