Around 200 aerospace industry operators showed their new products and services at the sixth edition of Morocco’s Marrakech Air Show starting on Wednesday.
The four-day show, covering an area of 110,000 square meters at the Royal Air Force military base in the city of Marrakech, represents an essential meeting place for aerospace industries in Africa.
Morocco has been witnessing an exponential growth in the aerospace sector in the last decade, mainly because of the low cost production strategy of the major aircraft manufacturers, and its desired position as a strategic maintenance platform for the African continent.
